Sec congratulated winners of comps and thanked rest of committee for their help. Sec informed delegates of amendment of Bye-Law 8. Sec told delegates of Notices of Motion at County A.G.M.
Ross thanked captains for getting results in promptly. 44% of matches were entered directly on web site. Doubling up was more widespread this year but the overall effect on league table was minor.
Alan presented balance sheet which showed a slight increase on previous year mainly due to savings in engraving. Alan recommended no increases on next seasons fees.
The auditors were happy with report.
Mike said entries for Merit and Pairs were very disappointing.
To abolish deduction of points off handicap when a team plays short. For: 1, Against: 13; Defeated
To amend Bye-Law 1 to read “Number of players in a team to be 8.” For: 4, Against: 10; Defeated
All officers re-elected. Honorariums to stay the same.
