Ladies KnockoutThe Knutsford Ladies Knockout took place today at Knutsford Bowling Club. Huge thanks must go to Dave Mee for a brilliant kept green and Jackie & Keith Poskett for the fabulous refreshments laid on today. The weather was quite a challenge first thing in the morning with heavy showers for most of the semi finals. All four team played very well and in good spirit despite the difficult conditions with Alderley Union and Castle Ladies progressing to the final. The final was a nail biting affair and excitingly close to the very end. Alderley Union just edged a great win to claim the knockout shield. Castle:145 (scr) Alderley Union:159 (16) There was a fantastic atmospere around the green from all four teams. Well done everyone! | |

Urgent Church InnCHURCH INN PARKING NEW ARRANGEMENTS To all teams who are playing at the Church Inn in either league games or competitions. Unforunately Cheshire East Council have insisted that the school gates are padlocked shut during the school holidays. Therefore we can no longer park on the school car park. We are still not allowed to use the pub car park. Please park opposite St Wilfreds church where there are some car parking spaces on the grass verge. You can also park on the verge between the school and the pub car park. Please DO NOT under any circumstances park in front of the locked school gates. The farmer needs tractor access to his field.
