2024 AGM and Prize Presentation

The 2024 AGM and Prize Presentation and  took place at Biddulph Bowling Club on Monday 29th January 2024.
It was well attended by representatives of clubs and prize winners.
Documents looked at during the AGM are still available still in the AGM 2024 Documents: links on the left of this Home Page.

Two notices of motion were discussed and both were passed.  These involved General Rule 10 and Vets Rule 13
Both these rules have now been updated and can be seen by clicking on the League Rules 2024 link.

The other main change discussed was the possibility of merging the 3 Vets Divisions of 8 teams in each into 2 Divisions of 12 teams in each.
After discussion this was voted on and was passed.  This will mean that each team will play 22 games instead of 14 games over the season.

The Prize Presentation followed the AGM and congratulations must be given to all clubs and individuals who received trophies/prize money.

Thanks must also be given to Biddulph Bowling Club who provided an excellently laid out room and facilities for this occasion.
