The P.C.S. Cup is a knock-out competition, open to all the veterans’ teams and replaces the Jennison Shield. It is played for on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons towards the end of the season. Teams receive a handicap, based on the division they play in (16 chalks per division between the two teams in a match). The previous year’s winner is penalised 16 chalks. New teams to the league start on scratch, and acquire their divisional handicap after they fail to win promotion. There is a detailed explanation of how this works.
The draw is shown below. The preliminary matches and most first round matches are played on Wednesday 14 July. The remaining first round matches are played on Tuesday 20 July. All matches start at 1.30pm.
