Cheadle and Gatley District Bowling League

This site provides league tables and other data for the Cheadle & Gatley league and for other neighbouring leagues. The C&G data start in 1996; other leagues joined later.

Everything is based on the concept of a “Season,” which is the programme of matches run by one league in one year.

You can search the database using this form. If you enter a player name, it searches for matching players. If you leave the player blank but enter a club name it looks for a summary of a club’s performance in a season. Either of these searches can be limited to a year and/or a league.

If you don’t specify either a player or a club, the search is for a league programme (a “Season”).

If the search produces one match you will be taken straight to the appropriate page. Otherwise you will be given a list of matches to choose from.

For the player name, you need to provide both forename and surname, but a single initial is enough for the forename (and usually better).
